cofhCircle of Hope is a support group for parents who have experienced the death of a child.

Mission Statement: To allow a safe haven for parents to share their grief after the death of a child.

Death’s impact is strong, and your wounds need time and care to heal.  A supportive social atmosphere is crucial throughout your grief process.  This is the reason for Circle of Hope.  Sharing eases loneliness and allows you to express your grief in an atmosphere of acceptance and  understanding.  The pain from the loss of a child can be understood best by other bereaved parents.

Meetings: Monthly meetings are held the second Thursday of every month from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at 2290 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury 28147. Weekly support meetings are also available and are led by a professional grief counselor.  Individuals are free to attend these meetings as often and as long as necessary. Workshops for children who are grieving the death of a sibling, parent or grandparent are offered periodically. There is no fee for counseling services.  Funding is provided by The Michael Yang Foundation.
